I quite agree as do with your subsequent contention that Keaton&amp;#39;s handling of the fight scenes are far more physical. The climax of this film is a rather nasty sequence in fact.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But the first half of BATTLIN BUTLER as I recall was charmingly inventive, as Buston heads to the mountains in his Rolls Royce for the hunting trip. The film has some dead spots afterwards, and revives for the preparation boxing scenes. I agree completely with your final star rating and your mostly effusive praise for this classic.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8214297712303916286/5667312881229534211/comments/default/2974993742453372431'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8214297712303916286/5667312881229534211/comments/default/2974993742453372431'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.screensavour.net/2009/08/battling-butler-1926.html?showComment=1250953896558#c2974993742453372431' title=''/><author><name>Sam Juliano</name><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img1.blogblog.com/img/blank.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.screensavour.net/2009/08/battling-butler-1926.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8214297712303916286.post-5667312881229534211' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8214297712303916286/posts/default/5667312881229534211' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-1129196531'/></entry></feed>
